AMSA position statements sunset after 5 years. Marine Protected Areas: We are currently reviewing our 2008 statement on Marine Protected Areas. This will be replaced with an update in early 2012. The current position is very relevant and is the position of AMSA on the science of Marine Protected Areas. The position statement (the shorter document first below) is supported by a longer 'position paper'. The longer document contains a discussion of the science underlying the recommendations contained in the short statement. |
