AMSA Membership Login and Renewal
New Members
Please click Not Yet a Member on the left side of the home page and complete the application. You will need a current financial member to nominate you. If you do not know anyone, please email the administrator.
Current Members Only
Member ID
You will need to know your Member ID when nominating new members and in any correspondence for AMSA queries. When you log in, your Member ID is displayed at the top of the page, under the Welcome message on the left side of the screen and on the 'Manage Your Membership' page.
Renew Membership
To renew your membership, log in to the site, and click on 'Manage Your Membership'. You will then see a link to 'Renew Your Membership' on the menu on the right hand side of the page, which takes you to a secure form for submission of payment details. You will immediately receive an email advising of the success of your submission, When your card payment is processed (which could be a week or so later), you will receive an email with a link to your tax invoice. Please print and retain this for taxation purposes.
Your Log In
If you do not remember your Username and/or Password, or think they should work and don't ... read on..
1. Forget Username
Click the ? beside the Username field. Enter name in next screen. If you have never set a secret question and answer, they have been set with the question as "What is your first name". The answer of your first name has been set as you entered it in the system, whether it is an abbreviation or a nickname or the real one. Once logged in, you can change the secret question and answer to something more appropriate.
2. Forget Password
Click the ? beside the Password field - complete details. If the email you enter does not match the email on the system, it will not work. As you probably cannot then log in to change your email, please email the administrator to have the email changed. A temporary password, which can be changed when you have logged on, will be emailed to you.
3. Username or Password Does Not Work
You Probably Created a Username & Password Before April 2006: If the password you think should work, doesn't, the password was probably created on the previous web site and you have not logged in to this site (since April 2006). The Username will be the same, but the password on this site was set the same as your Username (ie Username of ZJones will also have a password of ZJones). Use this to log in, and you then have the option to change the password from the menu on the right hand side of the screen.
4. You Have Never Created a Username or Password nor Logged In to the AMSA Site:
A username equating to the first two letters of your first name + last name (ie George Jones = gejones) was created, with the password the same. You can change the password when you are logged in. If you would like the username changed, please email the administrator and it can be set to something you prefer.
Nominator
The AMSA Constitution ( Para 8(3) - ) reads:
(a) shall be made .... and shall be signed by one financial member of the Association having personal knowledge of the nominee.
So, if you want to nominate a new member, your membership must be paid for the current financial year, or the system will not accept the nomination.
New members need your MEMBER ID to list you as a nominator. Please be aware that their membership will not be activated until you have responded to the nominator email.
Lapsed Members
If your membership is one to three years in arrears, you can still log in as in the above paragraph and pay subscriptions - one year in each transaction.
If your membership is over three years in arrears, please start a new membership by clicking Not Yet a Member.
