Dr Anthony Boxshall

Dr Anthony Boxshall is the Senior Manager Science at EPA Victoria where he is responsible for science strategy and research partnerships across many areas of science delivery (including Marine Sciences). His most recent ARC research involvement has been with developing ecological performance measures for marine protected areas as well as management-related risk assessment in general.
He also does a bit of science communication for a hobby, as a foundation member of the long running and award-winning marine and coastal radio show on 3RRR in Melbourne (Radio Marinara - Sundays 9 to 10 am on 102.7 Mhz or live streamed online).
In past lives, he worked for Parks Victoria as a Senior Marine Scientist, held a 3-year Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of California, Santa Cruz in California, USA, has been a lecturer in biology at Deakin University.
